Because of the recent advances is ultrasound technology, it is available to all expectant mothers for reassurance. The product is completely safe for the baby and mother, and it is used routinely in obstetricians' offices for fetal assessment.
The optimal time to have a reassurance ultrasound exam is between 24 - 30 weeks. The quality of the film is dependent on the amount of fluid surrounding the fetus and the fetal position. Charles Street Ob/Gyn Associates does guarantee that every mother will get great pictures and film of her baby.
